pepper_0713 asked:
I have an Akita mix, and I have read that they are more likely to get seasonal allergies. But every year about this time she just scratches and scratches. I have given her oatmeal baths, which seems to help for a bit. I have thought about giving her just regular old benedryl, but I am not sure how much to give (she weighs maybe 50 lbs). Any suggestions for either home remedies or products I can buy to help her? I am having a temp money crunch and cant afford to take her to the vet at this moment.

Right Ting! asked: Zyrtec’s affects seem to have worn out. What would you recommend? Benadryl typically works, but it’s not functional as a daily allergy medicine as it makes me too drowsy. Any prescription medications for bad seasonal allergies?
Thank you

AppleBombJLP asked: For the past three years, I have been an incredibly hard drinker. I could easily drink the better part of a liter of vodka, not be sick, and wake up the next day with a managable hangover. About three months ago, this all changed suddenly. Now whenever I have more than two beers, I wake up the next morning violently ill. I have frequent heartburn, constant nausea, and itchy skin if I have had any alcohol in the past 24 hours. Have I developed an allergy to alcohol? I’ve tried only drinking beer, or wine, or liqour to see if it was a particular kind, but they all make me feel wretched. What does this mean?

susi asked: I have read in the Asthma magazine a report to an asthmatic middle age man, he said that many people do not know the difference between being out of breath and asthma attack, can anyone explain? I think that gasping for air is like asthma attack or is not? Thanks for answers.
